The back story…
In
July 2008, Florida grandmother Cindy Anthony called police to report her two
year old granddaughter, Caylee, missing. The case gained national attention
virtually overnight.
Within
weeks, six astrologer-members of Websleuths.com -- Housemouse, Soulscape, Tuba, FifthEssence, Neptunian and Kaitland -- began posting their observations, impressions and insights on
what soon became thread after thread dedicated to discussing the Caylee Anthony
case from an astrological perspective on the Caylee Anthony subforum within Websleuths.com.
In
December 2008 after Caylee Anthony's remains were found, these six Astrologers
agreed they wanted to continue to work together, contributing astrological insights on other
missing person and/or crime cases, in the hopes that their work might help
solve cases through the use of forensic astrology. The result was the formation
of the Forensic Astrology Forum on Websleuths.com, which launched in January 2009.
For
the next 2 ½ years, the six Forensic Astrology Forum “core astrologers”
provided astrological commentary and insights into dozens of high profile
cases, including Haleigh Cummings, Sandra Cantu, Victoria Stafford, Lindsey
Baum, Hassini Campbell, Neveah Buchanan, Shaniya Davis, and countless others. By
July 2011 however, personal responsibilities, obligations and life circumstances forced all but two of them to reluctantly withdraw from participation.
It was at that point, after much discussion and
with great regret, Soulscape and FifthEssence asked Websleuths owner Tricia
Griffith to retire the Forensic Astrology Forum, as it had become increasingly
difficult for the two remaining core astrologers to carry the weight of the
Forum alone.
Fast forward: November 2011…
In November 2011, Soulscape and FifthEssence launched Forensicastrologers.blogspot.com as a way to continue to provide forensic astrological commentary on missing person cases.
